2024/08    Ji was awarded the Dean's Chair. 

2024/08    The Sun Lab moved from St Jude Children's Research Hospital to the National University of Singapore. We appreciate St Jude's support in the past years and are excited about the new journey. We are currently looking for talents of all levels to join us.  

2024/06    Ji was awarded the President Young Professorship, which supports the research of the Sun Lab. 

2024/05    Our lab reported the activation mechanism of human NOX5 in Nature Communications. The work was led by Chenxi Cui, Meiqing Jiang, and Nikhil Jain in collaboration with Dr. Tanadet Pipatpolkai. For more details, click here. 

2024/01    We published the co-structures of LRRK2 and small molecules, including 2 type I inhibitors and 3 type II inhibitors. The work was led by Hanwen Zhu in collaboration with Dr. Ma's group. For more details, click here. 

2023/12    Our work on "Rab29-dependent asymmetrical activation of leucine-rich repeat kinase 2" in collaboration with Dr. Dario Alessi group from the University of Dundee has been published in Science. For more details, click here.

2023/06    The lab moved to the new ARC building with spectacular open space and nice views!
